The bordering states were California, Idaho, Nevada, and Washington. Oregon Coast was a region in this state and was where Astoria was located. The largest city in Oregon was Portland, which was identified on a map of the North Pacific region when the Talosians accessed the USS Enterprise library computer in 2254. (TOS: "The Cage")
