The Organia system was an inhabited planetary system in a minor quadrant of the Beta Quadrant. This system was near the Federation-Klingon border.
This was the home system of the non-corporeal Organians. (TOS: "Errand of Mercy")
Components[]
Stellar system[]
This was a binary star system. The primary of this system was a G-type star and its companion was a K-type star. One of these stars was Organia's sun. (TOS: "Errand of Mercy")
Planetary system[]
In this system, there was the planet Organia, which was the homeworld of the Organians. This planet was in the system's habitable zone. (TOS: "Errand of Mercy")
Stellar cartography[]
In 2256, the location of Organia was labeled on the star chart "Alpha/Beta Quadrant Overview" in the ready room aboard the USS Discovery. Being close to the Federation-Klingon border, this was one of the first systems claimed by the Klingon Empire during the first Federation-Klingon War. (DIS: "Magic to Make the Sanest Man Go Mad")
The next year, the location of Organia was labeled on a star chart showing the progress of the Klingon Empire during the war. (DIS: "The War Without, The War Within")
In 2259, the location of this system was labeled on a stellar cartography chart that was seen on the USS Enterprise's ready room viewscreen. This system's symbol had a blue color, indicating that it was affiliated with the United Federation of Planets. (SNW: "Strange New Worlds", "Children of the Comet", "Spock Amok")
On stardate 1292.4, this system's position was labeled in a chart used during a Section 31 Alpha Team briefing. (Star Trek: Section 31)
The system's location was labeled in a Federation star chart that was in Fleet Admiral Kirsten Clancy's office at Starfleet Headquarters in 2399 and on the bridge of the USS Titan-A in 2401. The Organia system was in or near to neutral space. (PIC: "Maps and Legends", "The Next Generation", "Disengage")
In 2258, the system's location was labeled on a star chart seen on the main viewscreen of the USS Enterprise. (DIS: "Such Sweet Sorrow, Part 2")
In 3189, the location of Organia was denoted on a holographic star chart of the galaxy at Federation Headquarters. (DIS: "Scavengers")

Background information[]
The name of this system came from the source material used, the Star Trek: Star Charts and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library, to create the star charts seen in Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: Picard, and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
In the Star Trek: Star Charts (pp. 54, 57 & 64) and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Stellar Cartography", p. 28, 30; "Federation Historical Highlights, 2161-2385"), the Organia system had at least four planets. The Organia system was identified as a Klingon system in a star chart created by Scribe K'Tark in the Year of Kahless 893 (2266) for the Klingon High Council. This claim was propagandistic, as the Empire claimed many border systems. This often put the Empire at odds with the Federation.
The current location of Organia system in the Beta Quadrant was based on the most recent star charts seen in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and Star Trek: Section 31.
