Orion delaq was an alcoholic beverage that originated on Orion. It was an ingredient in an Orion hurricane cocktail.
As of 2259, it was not readily available on the USS Enterprise, forcing anyone making an Orion hurricane to improvise a substitute.
Delaq had hallucinogenic properties. Beckett Mariner, who was fond of Orion hurricanes, said that delaq could "truly ruin your life." (SNW: "Those Old Scientists")
