Paris in the pits
Palomar was a location on Lav'oti V in the Delta Quadrant, known for its "fetid mud pits".
The Doctor once took a holo-image of Tom Paris after he fell into the mud pits of Palomar, which he displayed in an exhibition in 2375. Paris insisted that he was pushed. (VOY: "Nothing Human")
The Star Trek Encyclopedia (4th ed., vol. 2, p. 121) spelled this location's name as "Pala Mar".
