Peipei "Peppa" Yuan is an actress, stuntwoman, dancer, and visual effects artist who served as stunt double for actress Freda Foh Shen (Kelvin helmsman) in Star Trek. [1]

Yuan attended Columbia University and graduated with a degree in visual arts. She is specialized in pre-visualization sequences and has provided her skills to the creation of films such as Panic Room (2002), 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003), The Matrix Revolutions (2003), Van Helsing (2004), Constantine (2005), Bryan Singer's Superman Returns (2006), Spider-Man 3 (2007), Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003), Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006) and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (2007).

During her work on Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End she was inspired by the stunt performances on the set and with her background in martial arts (Wu Shu martial arts), competitive swimming, and competitive gymnastics, she studied stunts under the ReelKick Team, including Tim Storms and Chien Funan. Yuan was featured in the Numbers episode "Undercurrents" (2006, with fellow Star Trek stuntwomen Lauren Kim and Jade Quon) and commercials for eBay and Farmer's Insurance (2007).

Beside her stunt work and visual effects skills, Yuan is a trained dancer, skilled in break dance, hip hop, salsa, jazz, and freestyle. She performed with Pink on her in Billboard Music Awards performance and performed and choreographed with her crew The Syrenz in Justin Bieber/Usher's Music Video "Some Body To Love". Yuan teaches regular break dancing/top rocking classes at YNS Studios in Culver City. She also choreographed Rihanna/Coldplay's Music Video "Princess of China" featuring 1000 Hand Chinese dancing.

Yuan's company Outer Circle Crew won the Disneyland TRON Dance Competition in 2012.

Yuan has been featured in several magazines, television talk shows, concerts, and music videos and continues her career as a choreographer and dancer, stunt woman, and pre-visualization artist.
