Pelios Station was where Curzon Dax and Benjamin Sisko first met.

In 2370, while Dax inhabited Verad, he and Sisko recalled the station. (DS9: "Invasive Procedures")

In 2371, Odo (who was carrying Curzon's memories and persona during Jadzia's zhian'tara) thought Kasidy Yates reminded him of a woman Sisko dated on the station. (DS9: "Facets")

While on Pelios Station, Sisko met a particular dancer; in 2373, Yedrin Dax's knowledge of this dancer proved to Sisko that he was indeed carrying the Dax symbiont. (DS9: "Children of Time")

Appendices Edit

Background information Edit

This station was only mentioned in dialogue. According to the script for "Children of Time", the pronunciation for Pelios was "PELL-ee-ose".

According to a line cut from DS9: "The Maquis, Part II", Curzon once persuaded Benjamin and Cal Hudson to play a game of dom-jot against two Zakdorns on Pelios Station. They played for seven hours, but the Zakdorn were triumphant. Curzon later revealed he had had a bet going on a Zakdorn victory.

According to the Star Trek Encyclopedia (4th ed., vol. 2, p. 131), Pelios Station was a Federation facility.

Apocrypha Edit

The events of The Lives of Dax story "The Music Between the Notes" take place on Pelios Station, and relate the story of the dancer that Yedrin alludes to in "Children of Time".
