Petra Jorgensen is a script supervisor who served as second unit and splinter unit day-playing script supervisor on J.J. Abrams' Star Trek. She previously worked as day-playing script supervisor on Star Trek: Voyager.

Jorgensen, who is fluent in English, French, German, and Dutch, worked as script supervisor on several episodes of the television series Bakersfield, P.D. (1993), Prey (1998), Hyperion Bay (1998), The West Wing (2000), Six Feet Under, Angel (Season 3-5), Gilmore Girls, Standoff, and Without a Trace (Season 4-7), and also as day-playing script supervisor on JAG, Eli Stone, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Judging Amy, Alias, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and 24.

Her work on feature films include the horror film Doctor Mordrid (1992, starring Jeffrey Combs), the horror sequel Amityville: A New Generation (1993, with Julia Nickson-Soul and Terry O'Quinn), the crime thriller Killing Zoe (1994), Bryan Singer's thriller The Usual Suspects (1995), the comedy High School High (1996, with Louise Fletcher), The Second Jungle Book: Mowgli & Baloo (1997, with William O. Campbell), the television movie Alien Nation: The Udara Legacy (1997, with Gary Graham, Eric Pierpoint, and Michele Scarabelli), Paul Verhoeven's science fiction blockbuster Starship Troopers (1997, starring Dina Meyer and Clancy Brown), the comedy Boat Trip (2002), Jonathan Frakes' science fiction film Clockstoppers (2002, with Ken Jenkins and Jenette Goldstein), and the comedy Scooby-Doo (2002).

Jorgensen served as producer on the short comedy Enter the Grill Master (2003) and appeared as a background actress in the Angel episode The House Always Wins (2002, with Clayton Rohner).

More recently she served as script supervisor on the drama American Primitive (2008, with James B. Sikking) and on the thriller Whiteout (2009).
