Philip Boyd (born 12 May 1975; age 49) is the actor who played the relief com officer in the Star Trek: Enterprise third season episodes "Extinction" and "Exile".
Outside of Enterprise, Boyd has appeared in episodes of Boston Common (with Sam Anderson), Beverly Hills, 90210 (with Ann Gillespie and Julie Parrish), J.J. Abrams' Felicity (2000, starring Keri Russell), Charmed, ER (2001, starring Eriq La Salle, with Sam Witwer), JAG (with Scott Lawrence and Jennifer Savidge), and Summerland (2004, starring Merrin Dungey, with Glenn Morshower). He has also appeared in a number of feature films, making his debut in the medium with a supporting role in Devil in the Flesh (1998, co-starring Phil Morris and Julia Nickson. This was followed in 2004 with a small role in First Daughter and the thriller The Drone Virus. The director of the latter film, Damon O'Steen, went on to cast Boyd and co-star Michael Ensign in 29 Reasons to Run (2006). Boyd, Ensign, and eight of their co-stars won a Gold Bold Award from the Bare Bones International Film Festival for Best Ensemble Cast in a film.
Boyd also appeared in an episode of The Wedding Bells, in 2007.
