The Cetacean Institute's phone number.

A phone number was a sequence of numbers assigned to a telephone. A commercial phone number was usually advertised, whereas a private phone number was handed out between friends.

While on a time travel mission in 1996, Tom Paris was asked for his phone number by Rain Robinson. (VOY: "Future's End")

In 2286, James T. Kirk asked Gillian Taylor how he would find her, for as they said in her century (the 20th century), "I don't even have your telephone number." She said not to worry about that for, if she wanted, she would find him. (Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home)

Several phone numbers seen in Star Trek begin with 555, which is a widely used prefix in fiction. This is done to ensure that real people with the same phone number don't end up being harassed by fans of the production.

In 2375, after Ezri Dax reminded Vic Fontaine that he knew how to contact her if he had any more concerns about Nog's rehabilitation, he replied, "I got your number". (DS9: "It's Only a Paper Moon")
