The Karidian Company of Players performing "Macbeth"

A play, or drama, was a dramatic work of literature performed by actors live on a stage as opposed to merely being read. One who wrote this variety of literature was called a playwright.

From 2257 until 2266, the Karidian Company of Players performed plays on Earth, on several colonies, and aboard various starships. (TOS: "The Conscience of the King")
