Thot Pran was a Breen soldier in the 24th century Breen Confederacy.

During the Dominion War, after the Second Battle of Chin'toka in 2375, Pran succeeded Thot Gor as military commander of the Breen forces under the Dominion. He was responsible for overseeing the installation of energy dampening weapons onto Dominion warships, as they were effective against Federation and Romulan forces.

During the closing days of the war, Thot Pran served as an invaluable adviser to the Female Changeling, even to the point he openly defied Weyoun in both of their presences when Damar's resistance seemed to be a mounting problem for him. (DS9: "Tacking Into the Wind")

Pran was later present at a meeting between the Founder, Weyoun, and the newly chosen Legate Broca. At the meeting, the Female Changeling informed them of her plan to have Dominion forces fall back to Cardassian territory. Pran thought this meant surrender, but was informed it was a rebuilding measure. (DS9: "The Dogs of War")

Pran continued Gor's persistence in gaining significant amounts of territory through the war. The Female Changeling later promised him both Romulus and Earth after the war's end. During the Battle of Cardassia, Pran also insisted that the Breen forces stand alongside the Jem'Hadar in the front lines. However, the Dominion was forced to retreat to Cardassia Prime. At this point, Pran chose to personally command the Breen forces in orbit, though the battle never came, as the Female Changeling ordered surrender.

Pran attended the signing of the Treaty of Bajor. (DS9: "What You Leave Behind")

Pran was played by extra Max Omega, who received no on-screen credit for his appearances.
In the first draft script of "Tacking Into the Wind", Pran's part in the episode was written for Gor instead. Pran was written into the episode by the time the final draft of the script was issued, although Gor's name still appeared in the teleplay, written in the cast list for that draft. [1]
Pran becomes the leader (Domo) of the Breen Confederacy in the novels Silent Weapons and Disavowed.
