Qol was a male Ferengi who claimed to be a member of the Ferengi Trade Mission when he boarded the USS Enterprise-D in 2368. Qol and Par Lenor came aboard the Enterprise-D after destroying their own shuttle in a deception designed to convince the Enterprise-D to take them aboard.

Qol and Lenor were actually interested in the cargo of the Enterprise-D, Kamala, an empathic metamorph. Shortly after boarding the vessel Qol conducted scans of Kamala in cargo bay 4. In doing so he disturbed the safety measures in place and caused the premature emergence of Kamala.

Later, he and Lenor attempted to bribe Ambassador Briam with 20,000 coins of Ludugial gold but they were rejected. When the offended Ambassador said he would inform Captain Picard of their intentions, the Ferengi attempt to restrain him, a struggle ensued, and Briam was injured, temporarily leaving him in a coma.

Lenor and Qol were transported to Starbase 117 shortly thereafter, where they were expected to face charges. (TNG: "The Perfect Mate")

Qol was played by Michael Snyder.
The name Qol originated from the source's script.
Like his partner, Qol wore an odd combination of rank insignia to what was typically established, as his his uniform bore all the hallmarks of a mid-grade officer's uniform, but his tattoo was that of DaiMon.
