Quadralon was one of the Cubes, a photonic species from the Veraflex nebula, and the child of Cube leader Sexagus. Though its species were long-standing enemies of the Orbs, it began an illicit romantic relationship with Radiara, child of Orb leader Spheronius.
In 2382, Quadralon accompanied its father to the USS Cerritos for peace talks with the Orbs. It complained that corporeal ships were boring and locked itself in its quarters, which was actually an excuse for it to engage in rigorous sex with Radiara. After trashing Quadralon's quarters, the pair sneaked off to the holodeck, leaving the scene to be discovered by Lieutenant jg Beckett Mariner and Ensign Olly.
With the children of both the Cube and Orb leaders apparently missing, tensions between the species escalated until a shape war erupted on the ship. After the Cerritos stopped the fighting by draining both sides of energy, Quadralon and Radiara reappeared and announced their union to all. They also presented their new hybrid child, SquAaron, who enchanted its grandparents and paved the way to a lasting peace. (LD: "Of Gods and Angles")
