Omag's women Edit

These women accompanied the Ferengi Omag during his visit to the bar on Qualor II.

When Commander William T. Riker attempted to questioned Omag concerning a stolen Vulcan transport, they laughed at Omag's bad jokes. They would later leave when Riker turned over Omag's dinner plate on his lap. (TNG: "Unification II")

"Omag's women" were described in the script notes as "two gorgeous women in skintight dresses...".
According to Michael Westmore, "
Each of those characters took about four hours to make up, and I known Bob Blackman spent a lot of time designing their costumes, which were absolutely gorgeous. Both characters are interesting enough to bring back, but it took so long to shoot that particular scene, there was no time to give the individual coverage. I've always considered those two makeups as particular favorites of mine."
"
One girl wore a small humanoid appliance between her eyes, and small upward darting eye brows. Her hairstyle was outstanding, as it formed a huge fan."
"
The second girl was reptilian and yellow in appearance. Multicolored jewels, which were part of her costume, were also attached to the back of her protruding head. The top of her head and stomach was hand-painted and airbrushed in a design of an exotic mosquito." (Star Trek: The Next Generation Makeup FX Journal, p. 86)
As stated above, both women were of species later employed at Quark's bar (see: yellow dabo girl and dabo girls).
The
Star Trek Customizable Card Game gives the second woman's name as Calandra.
