Mirror universe

For the prime universe counterpart, please see Quark.
"Me? I'm a simple barkeep, and a coward. I assure you I don't stick my neck out for anyone."
Quark, 2370 ("Crossover")

Quark was a male Ferengi and the owner of a bar on Terok Nor. A somewhat subdued individual, Quark bravely helped a number of Terrans escape from the control of the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance by smuggling them onto departing ships.

In 2370, he heard about the arrival of two people from another universe, including another Kira Nerys. Kira came to him wanting to procure some time with a transporter in order to return to her universe, while informing him of his counterpart. The discussion was interrupted by Elim Garak, however, when his role in the attempted escape of a Human slave was discovered and he was arrested immediately. Despite giving up other conspirators and making a personal plea to Intendant Kira Nerys, she ordered his immediate execution, but for it to be a "quick death" and for him not to suffer. (DS9: "Crossover")

Quark's brother Rom later joined the Terran Rebellion to avenge his brother's death. (DS9: "Through the Looking Glass")

After the deaths of his father and uncle, Nog inherited the bar but was killed by Intendant Kira after helping her escape in 2372. (DS9: "Shattered Mirror")

At some point prior to 2375, Captain Benjamin Sisko told Quark's primary universe counterpart of his fate. (DS9: "The Emperor's New Cloak")

Quark, like his prime counterpart, was played by Armin Shimerman.
