AT: "mu"

For the prime universe counterpart, please see Quark.

Quark was the owner of a bar on Terok Nor. A somewhat subdued individual, Quark bravely helped a number of Terrans escape from the control of the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance by smuggling them onto departing ships. However, his role in the operation was exposed by a captured slave and he was arrested in 2370. Despite making a personal plea to Intendant Kira Nerys, she ordered his immediate execution, though she ordered it to be a "quick death" and for him not to suffer. (DS9: "Crossover")

Quark's brother Rom later joined the Terran Rebellion to avenge his brother's death. (DS9: "Through the Looking Glass")

After the deaths of his father and uncle, Nog inherited the bar but was killed by Intendant Kira after helping her escape in 2372. (DS9: "Shattered Mirror")

At some point prior to 2375, Captain Benjamin Sisko told Quark's primary universe counterpart of his fate. (DS9: "The Emperor's New Cloak")

Quark, like his prime counterpart, was played by Armin Shimerman.
