Quark Bucks were gift certificates that were redeemable at Quark's gift shops.

When Brad Boimler won triple down dabo at Quark's on Deep Space 9 in 2381, a Ferengi pit boss offered to give him Quark Bucks instead amounting to twice the value of his latinum winnings. Boimler eagerly accepted, stating, "We don't even use money in Starfleet anyway." He then proceeded to buy himself a load of Quark's merchandise. (LD: "Hear All, Trust Nothing")

Quark Bucks appear to be an evolution of the vouchers Quark offered William T. Riker for a similar dabo win, as mentioned in TNG: "Firstborn".
