During the battle on Cestus III, lead by Captain James T. Kirk against the Gorn in 2267, the enemy was determined by Spock to be located in the surrounding mountains outside the outpost at an azimuth of ninety-three degrees, and a range of 1,570 yards. (TOS: "Arena")
