Ray Buktenica (born 6 August 1943; age 79) played Deyos in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine fifth season episode "By Inferno's Light".

He is best known for his role as Rhoda Morgenstern's sister Brenda's boyfriend, Benny Goodwin, on the classic sitcom Rhoda from 1977 to 1978 and also for his role as the stereotypically neurotic Dr. Norman Solomon on the series House Calls from 1979 to 1982.

In 2001, he appeared in the made-for-TV docudrama Surviving Gilligan's Island: The Incredibly True Story of the Longest Three Hour Tour in History as Director # 1, alongside fellow Star Trek alumni Aaron Lustig, Steve Vinovich, Michael Wiseman, Christopher Neiman, Alexander Enberg, and Jim Jansen.

In 2003, he appeared in the made-for-TV docudrama Return to the Batcave: The Misadventures of Adam and Burt as Robert Butler, alongside fellow Star Trek alumni Jason Marsden, Frank Gorshin, Lee Merriweather, Julie Newmar, Steve Blalock, Ivar Brogger, Christopher Darga, Jim Jansen, Todd Merrill, Brett Rickaby, Julia Rose, Joel Swetow, and Steve Vinovich.

Buktenica has also appeared in films such as the 1976 version of King Kong (with Rene Auberjonois, Ed Lauter and Garry Walberg), My Girl (with Tom Villard) and Heat.
