Rebecca Romijn (born 6 November 1972; age 51) is an actress and former model who played Una Chin-Riley in the Star Trek: Discovery second season episodes "An Obol for Charon", "Such Sweet Sorrow", and "Such Sweet Sorrow, Part 2". She reprised her role in the Star Trek: Short Treks episodes "Q&A" and "Ask Not", and as series regular in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.


Romijn is perhaps best known for playing Marvel Comics character Mystique in X-Men (2000), X2 (2003) and X-Men: The Last Stand (2006), directed by Bryan Singer and co-starring Patrick Stewart, Famke Janssen, Kelsey Grammer, and Aaron Stanford.

Her other film credits include Rollerball (2002, with Ruth Chiang), The Punisher (2004), Godsend (2004), and Man About Town (2006, with her future husband, Jerry O'Connell).

Since the late-2000s, Romijn mostly worked in television. In 2007-08, she co-starred in Ugly Betty, alongside Tony Plana and Vanessa Williams, and in 2009-10, she co-starred in Eastwick.

In 2012-13, she played a recurring role in the comedy series NTSF:SD:SUV, which starred Paul Scheer, June Diane Raphael, and Kate Mulgrew, and was created by Scheer himself. In 2013, she starred in King & Maxwell.

From 2013-2018, Romijn starred in the TNT hit show The Librarians (also starring Lindy Booth and John Larroquette) as Colonel Eve Baird. Guest stars on the show included René Auberjonois, Jerry O'Connell, Matt Frewer, Rachel Nichols, Vanessa Williams, and John de Lancie.

She guest starred in episodes of series such as Chuck (with Bonita Friedericy and Joseph Gatt), Key and Peele, Carter (starring Jerry O'Connell), and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

She also provided her voice for a number of animated films and series, including episodes of Drawn Together (with Jess Harnell and Tara Strong), Seth MacFarlane's The Cleveland Show (with Kevin Michael Richardson), and Adventure Time (with Tom Kenny, Paul Williams, and Dee Bradley Baker).

She voiced Lois Lane in several DC Comics animated films, including The Death of Superman (2018), Reign of the Supermen (2019, both with Jerry O'Connell, Rainn Wilson, Paul Eiding, and Jennifer Hale), Batman: Hush (2019, with Jennifer Morrison, Peyton List, Maury Sterling, and Tara Strong), and Justice League Dark: Apokolips War (2020, with Jerry O'Connell, Tony Todd, and Rainn Wilson).

Romijn is married to Star Trek: Lower Decks performer Jerry O'Connell and the mother of their twin daughters Dolly and Charlie.
