Rebecca Smith was a Starfleet officer who transferred aboard USS Enterprise-D as a tactical officer in 2370.
She went on a date with Commander Will Riker shortly after being assigned to the ship. They ended up in the arboretum and became intimate, but the visit was ruined when Riker rolled onto a Cypirion cactus and had to go to sickbay for treatment. (TNG: "Genesis")
