Reginald Lal Singh (8 August 1905 – 1 December 1970; age 65) portrayed Captain Chandra in the Star Trek: The Original Series first season episode "Court Martial". He filmed his scenes on Monday 3 October 1966, Wednesday 5 October 1966, on Friday 7 October 1966 and Monday 10 October 1966 at Desilu Stage 9 and Stage 10.
His previous television appearances included The Adventures of Dr. Fu Manchu, Jane Wyman Presents The Fireside Theatre (1958, with Phillip Pine), and Family Affair (1966, with series lead Brian Keith). His film credits include Storm Over Tibet (1952, with William Schallert), Dragon's Gold (1954, with Anthony Jochim), Elephant Walk (1954, with Abraham Sofaer), and the 1959 Biblical epic Ben-Hur (with Michael Dugan).
He also served as technical adviser for the films The Naked Jungle (1954) and Around the World in 80 Days (1956).
Singh died at the age of 65 in Los Angeles, California.
