Renna Bogdanowicz (born 15 April 1954; age 70) is an actress who appeared as background actress in episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and Star Trek: Voyager and in Star Trek: First Contact. She received no credit for her appearances but is listed on the call sheets for "Caretaker".
Her first known Star Trek connection was the day cover stand-in job for Gates McFadden on the episode "Sarek" for which she worked on Monday 19 March 1990 on Paramount Stage 9. She also worked as additional stand-in for guest actress Michelle Forbes on the fifth season episode "Ensign Ro".
She appeared as a background actress in two Murder, She Wrote second season episodes: first as a jail officer in the episode "Jessica Behind Bars" (1985, along with Adrienne Barbeau, Janet MacLachlan, Susan Oliver, and Faith Minton), and then as a literary conference attendee in the episode "Powder Keg" (1986, with Mark Donaldson). She also appeared as a bar patron in the Dynasty episode "Triangles" (1985, with Joan Collins, William O. Campbell, Robert Buckingham, and Rex Pierson) and as a restaurant patron in the Dynasty episode "The Crash" (1985, with Joan Collins, William O. Campbell, Shirley Anthony, Peter Eastman, Leroy Hardy, Suzanne Lodge, Joel Marston, Jimmy Ortega, Jim Painter, Gene Poe, Marvin Smith, and Tony Rocco).
Also in the 1980s and early 1990s, Bogdanowicz appeared as a bar patron in twenty-three episodes of the sitcom Cheers between 1986 and 1993 where she worked with Kate Mulgrew, David Paymer, Michael G. Hagerty, Paul Willson, Kelsey Grammer, Paul Acerno, Lee Allen, Joseph Paz, Lemuel Perry, Fritz Herzog, Mike Paciorek, Rebecca Soladay, Dawn Grisheau, Mark Reilly, James Davison, Marianne Lewis, George Sasaki, Brent Spiner, John Fleck, George Sasaki, and William Ward.
In 1988 she portrayed one of the waitresses at the gas station in the comedic drama Punchline where she worked with Kimberly L. Ryusaki, Cameron Thor, George D. Wallace, Mike Starr, Kelly Gallant, and Scott Lawrence. In 1991, Bogdanowicz appeared as a woman visiting the auction at the Carrington Mansion in the first part of Dynasty: The Reunion. Credited as Renna Bogdanovich, she was featured as the warden's wife in the television crime drama Crime of the Century (1996, with David Paymer, Bert Remsen, Stefan Gierasch, Vyto Ruginis, Michael Bofshever, Clayton Landey, Brad Greenquist, Erick Weiss, Jefrey Alan Chandler, Heinrich James, Bill Bolender, Annette Helde, Time Winters, and Andre Alexsen).
Known as Renna Bartlett today, she also appeared in episodes of Chicken Soup for the Soul (1999) and General Hospital. More recently, she appeared as a social worker in The Mentalist episode "The Thin Red Line" (2008, with Kate McNeil, Mark Rolston, Gregory Itzin, and Kevin Derr) and as stage assistant director on the comedy No Strings Attached (2011).
