In 2266, a polywater intoxication-afflicted sciences division crewman serving aboard the USS Enterprise, was driven to stumble around the corridor, painting slogans like "Love Mankind" and "Sinner Repent" on corridor walls and doors. (TOS: "The Naked Time")
In 2366, Kivas Fajo, in custody for abducting Data amongst other crimes, refused to repent to the android; in fact, Data had no such expectations. (TNG: "The Most Toys")
