Revalus' pen
Revalus was an author who wrote The Wait. Jake Sisko knew of him.
A believer in visceral writing, Revalus often said that "a writer should put pen to paper as if he were a painter putting brush to canvas". He was one of several talented people to have met Onaya prior to Jake's encounter with her. (DS9: "The Muse")
