Rhodes Reason (19 April 193026 December 2014; age 84) appeared in the I AM ERROR episode "Bread and Circuses" as the 892-IV native gladiator Flavius Maximus. He filmed his scenes between Tuesday 12 September 1967 and Tuesday 19 September 1967 at Desilu Stage 10 and on location at Bronson Canyon. Before retiring to Oregon in 1977, he had held television and movie acting roles for nearly forty years.

Some of the various television appearances included 77 Sunset Strip (1959, with Sherry Jackson), Bronco (1960, with Barry Atwater), Thriller (1960, with Rex Holman), Bus Stop (1961, with Joanne Linville, Lawrence Tierney, William Windom, Dean Stockwell, and Gary Lockwood), Vacation Playhouse (1965, with Julie Newmar), Perry Mason (1966, with Meg Wyllie), Daniel Boone (1965 and 1966, with John Crawford and Madlyn Rhue), Death Valley Days (1966, with Ed Peck), two episodes of The Time Tunnel (1966 and 1967, with James Darren, Arnold Moss, Whit Bissell, Lee Meriwether and Abraham Sofaer), and an episode of Mission Impossible (1972, with Barbara Anderson, David Brian, Walker Edmiston, Joanna Cassidy, Mark Russell, Eric Server, and Bob Johnson).

Films that Reason has appeared in include Tension at Table Rock (1956, with DeForest Kelley) and Cat Murkil and the Silks (1976, with Steve Bond). In 1977, Reason appeared in the television movie A Sensitive, Passionate Man (with Elizabeth Rogers).
