Richard Kray (born 21 February 1950; age 74) is an actor, writer, and producer who appeared as a Tau Cygna V colonist in the Star Trek: The Next Generation third season episode "The Ensigns of Command". He received no credit for this appearance but listed his role as "Father" on his resume.

Born in La Porte, Indiana, Kray attended the La Porte High School, Indiana University, and the University of Houston Law Center. He created the character "Johnny Skunk" aka "The Skunkman", a variety personality and performed at live shows, events, conventions, and birthdays. [1] He trained acting under Leo Rossi, Jill Andre, and Mario Roccuzzo and appeared in commercials, feature films, music videos, and television shows.

Among his work as featured and background actor are the crime comedy Harlem Nights (1989), the thriller Bad Influence (1990), the music drama The Doors (1991), the drama Hero (1992), the Western Django Unchained (2012), and the drama Saving Mr. Banks (2013). He also appeared in episodes of Hard Copy, Touch, Westworld, NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, and Young Sheldon.

Kray appeared as a police officer guarding the courthouse in the thriller Letters from a Killer (1998, with Olivia Birkelund, Tina Lifford, Bruce McGill, Mark Rolston, Don Stark, Scott Lincoln, Alan Echeverria, Brad Blaisdell, Frank Diresta, Marcy Goldman, Greg Bronson, Marilyn Monrovia, Kevin Grevioux, Steve Blalock, Bud Davis, Jarrid Eddo, Al Goto, Randy Hall, Michael Haynes, Kim Robert Koscki, Diana R. Lupo, Cliff McLaughlin, Jim Palmer, Dan Plum, Danny Rogers, Lynn Salvatori, Ben Scott, Lincoln Simonds, Erik Stabenau, and Dennis Scott).
