Richard Poe is an actor known for his portrayal of Gul Evek in Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and Star Trek: Voyager. He made all his appearances within a year of each other. He first appeared in the DS9 episode "Playing God" (which aired 27 February 1994) and his last appearance was in "Caretaker" (which aired 16 January 1995).
He has also starred alongside fellow Trek guest-actor, Kelsey Grammer, in two episodes of Frasier as "Chopper Dave". One of the episodes he appeared in, "Oops", also starred John Glover.
Along with Jonathan Frakes, Marina Sirtis, Armin Shimerman, John de Lancie and Michael Ansara, he is one of only six actors to play the same character in three different Star Trek series.
