Richard J. Tatro (1 July 193926 July 1991; age 52) [1] was the actor who played the android Norman in the Star Trek: The Original Series second season episode "I, Mudd". This is his last known acting appearance in television or film.

Tatro made his TV debut in an episode of the classic Western series Cheyenne in 1961. The episode, entitled "Cross Purpose", also guest-starred fellow TOS alum Michael Forest (Apollo, "Who Mourns for Adonais?"). He followed this with roles in a few little-known films (including 1964's Sin in the Suburbs) and a 1964 appearance on The Nurses with Stephen Brooks. He then went on to guest star in a three-part episode of the western series Branded entitled "Call to Glory", co-starring fellow TOS actors Robert Lansing and Felix Locher, in 1966. This three-parter was later edited into a feature film, entitled Blade Rider, Revenge of the Indian Nations.
