Rigel II was the second planet in the Rigel planetary system.
Lieutenant Commander Leonard McCoy of the Federation starship USS Enterprise once met a pair of scantily-clad women in a cabaret chorus line on Rigel II. In 2267, the two women were recreated from Dr. McCoy's imagination on the Shore Leave Planet in the Omicron Delta region. (TOS: "Shore Leave")

Background
The Rigel system cannot be farther away than 90 light years, as Archer referred to Risa in ENT: "Two Days and Two Nights" as being the farthest away from Earth any Human had gone to that point. This visit to the vacation planet was after Rigel X, a sister planet to Rigel II, had been visited on the Enterprise's maiden flight.

This chart was first seen, chronologically, in 2293. (Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country) This chart was also seen in several Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episodes set in the 24th century, from the year 2364 to 2370.
