Robert Pine (born 10 July 1941; age 83) is the actor who played Liria in the Star Trek: Voyager third season episode "The Chute" and Tavin in the Star Trek: Enterprise first season episode "Fusion".

He is the father of Chris Pine, who played James T. Kirk in Star Trek, Star Trek Into Darkness, and Star Trek Beyond.

Beyond the realm of Star Trek, Robert Pine is most famous for his role as Sergeant (and in a 1998 TV-movie, Commissioner) Joseph Getraer on CHiPs, on which Michael Dorn also guest-starred. He has also made guest appearances on a number of other shows, including Gunsmoke, Barnaby Jones, Charlie's Angels, Murder, She Wrote, The West Wing, and Six Feet Under. He also guest-starred on an episode of Quantum Leap starring his future Enterprise co-star Scott Bakula and Enterprise guest actor Dean Stockwell.

In 1973, Pine appeared in the TV movie Incident on a Dark Street with William Shatner. He and Shatner reunited in a Priceline commercial in which Pine played a chauffeur. Pine has also worked on numerous feature films. These include Journey to Shiloh (1968, with Star Trek: Deep Space Nine guest actor Michael Sarrazin), Empire of the Ants (1977, with Original Series guest stars Joan Collins and Robert Lansing), The Apple Dumpling Gang Rides Again (1979, with Kenneth Mars, Rex Holman, Nick Ramus, Ed McCready, and John Arndt), Independence Day (1996, featuring Star Trek: The Next Generation star Brent Spiner as well as Bill Smitrovich, Leland Orser, Randy Oglesby, and Erick Avari), and Confidence (2003, with Leland Orser, Tommy "Tiny" Lister, Jr., and John Carroll Lynch).

Pine has also appeared in Mach 2 (with Michael Dorn), Red Eye (2005, with Suzie Plakson and Dey Young), and the 2010 dramedy Small Town Saturday Night (once again co-starring alongside his real-life son Chris Pine).

In 2015, Pine was elected as Los Angeles member of the National Board of Directors for the 2015-2017 period of SAG-AFTRA.
