Roger Morrissey (born 6 February 1969; age 55) is an actor and stuntman who played the Beta-Hirogen in the Star Trek: Voyager fourth season episode "Hunters". He filmed his scenes on Tuesday 28 October 1997 on Paramount Stage 16.
Morrissey has been regularly cast as demons, monsters, and other creatures because of his height of 7'4" (223 cm). He has performed in several television commercials and music videos for artists such as Green Day and Aerosmith. [1]
Among his acting resume are films such as River of Stone (1994, with James Doohan), Ballad of the Nightingale (1998, with Seymour Cassel, Virginia Madsen, and Robert Miano), Tale of the Mummy (1998), The Bogus Witch Project (2000), Men in Black II (2002, with Doug Jones), Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002), Like Mike (2002, with Josef Cannon, Basil Wallace, and Tucker Smallwood), Hellborn (2003, with Tracy Scoggins and Gregory Wagrowski), and The Cat in the Hat (2003, with Clint Howard, Frank Welker and Norman Fessler).
Morrissey has also appeared in the television series Power Rangers in Space (1998), The X-Files (1999, with Juliana Donald, Marnie McPhail, Tom Virtue, and Peter White), Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1999, with Anthony Stewart Head, Armin Shimerman, Harry Groener, Scott L. Schwartz, and stunt coordinator Jeff Pruitt), Xena: Warrior Princess (2000), and Malcolm in the Middle}} (2002, with Kenneth Mars).
He performed stunts in House of 1000 Corpses (2003, with Tom Towles, Michael J. Pollard, and stunts by Rick Avery, Nicole Randall, and Michelle Sebek) and The Devil's Rejects (2005, as stunt double for Matthew McGrory, with Tom Towles, Deborah Van Valkenburgh, Daniel Roebuck, Kane Hodder, and stunts by Rosine "Ace" Hatem, Paul E. Short, and Gary Wayton).
Later credits include episodes of The Search for the Next Elvira (2007, with Kane Hodder and Cindy Sorensen), CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2007, starring Paul Guilfoyle, Wallace Langham and Liz Vassey), and Cold Case (2010, with Michael John Anderson, Dakin Matthews, and Carel Struycken), The Lords of Salem (2012, with Bruce Davison, Meg Foster, Andrew Prine, Richard Fancy, Michael Berryman, Sid Haig, Bonita Friedericy, Clint Howard, Richard Lynch, and Daniel Roebuck), The Frankenstein Theory (2013), and Love in the Time of Monsters (2014, with Kane Hodder).
