According to a deleted dialogue of Korinas in scene 38 of the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine third season episode "Defiant", the Rokat colony was a colony in the Cardassian Union equipped with a communications relay. This was one of the targets of Lieutenant Thomas Riker and the Maquis when they hijacked the USS Defiant in 2371. [1]
