Romaine Waite is the actor who played Troy Januzzi in the Star Trek: Discovery first season episodes "The Vulcan Hello" and "Battle at the Binary Stars" and his mirror universe counterpart Troy Januzzi in the episodes "Despite Yourself" and "The Wolf Inside".
Waite's acting career started in the 2000s with appearances in the television mini-series A Man of Principals (2009) and Someone Not There (2014), the television drama series Poser (2011), the short films The Trouble with the Next Day (2011), Pawn Takes Knight (2012), One Night a Stranger (2013), My Favourite Thing (2013), Volition (2013), Rats (2013), and Bubble Gum Scented Urinal Cakes (2014), the horror thriller Antisocial (2013), and the mystery thriller Separation Anxiety (2014).

On the 2017 short drama 36 Hammond Drive, Waite worked as producer, writer, director, and lead actor. It was also announced in April 2018, that Waite joined the cast of the Netflix holiday film Christmas Calendar. [1]
