Ronald Kenneth "Ron" Gans (9 August 193129 June 2010; age 78) was an actor and voice actor who provided the voice of Armus in the Star Trek: The Next Generation first season episode "Skin Of Evil". His voice work can also be heard in archive footage used in the second season episode "Shades of Gray".

Gans is known for voicing Eeyore in the long-running puppet series Welcome to Pooh Corner and Sebastian the Alley Cat on the 1985-1988 series Dumbo's Circus, both for The Disney Channel. He was also the voice of Drag Strip on the 1980s animated series Transformers (with Roger C. Carmel). He had previously voiced characters on the 1960s science fiction adventure series Lost in Space (which starred Bill Mumy) and was later the voice of the Juggernaut in the 1989 pilot Pryde of the X-Men (which also featured the voices of Michael Bell, Earl Boen, Alan Oppenheimer, and Frank Welker). In addition, Gans had voice-over roles in such films as Night Call Nurses (1972) and Heartbeeps (1981, as Crimebuster)...both of which featured Dick Miller.

On-screen, Gans appeared in such films as The St. Valentine's Day Massacre (1967, with Joseph Campanella, Celia Lovsky, and Dick Miller), The Gay Deceivers (1969, with Richard Webb, Tony Epper, and Anthony De Longis), Coffy (1973, starring Booker Bradshaw, Robert DoQui, and Sid Haig), and Delinquent School Girls (1975, starring Michael Pataki). He also appeared on such television shows as It Takes a Thief (two episodes, both with series regular Malachi Throne and one with Alfred Ryder) and Quincy, M.E. (with Mimi Cozzens, Robert Ito, David Spielberg, and Garry Walberg).

Gans died on 29 June 2010 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center due to complications from pneumonia. He was 78 years old. [1]
