Ron Glass (10 July 1945 – 25 November 2016; age 71) is the actor who played Loken in the Star Trek: Voyager seventh season episode "Nightingale". He was born in Evansville, Indiana, USA.
He is best known for his Emmy-nominated role as Detective Ron Harris in the television series Barney Miller, from 1975 through 1982. Star Trek: The Original Series guest actor James Gregory (Tristan Adams) and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine guest star Gregory Sierra (Entek) were also regulars on this series, and George Murdock was a recurring player.
