Ronald Dale "Ron" Resch (2 September 193924 November 2009; age 70) was an artist, computer scientist, and applied geometrist who worked on the special effects team of Star Trek: The Motion Picture. He designed multiple structures for the film, including the geometric design of the Epsilon IX station.
