Ron Walters (20 November 1938 – 31 October 1994; age 55) was a Make-Up Artist who worked on Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country and several episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation. Walters received an Emmy Award nomination for his work on "Allegiance" for Outstanding Achievement in Makeup for a Series in 1990 which he shared with Michael Westmore, Gerald Quist, June Westmore, Hank Edds, Doug Drexler, and John Caglione, Jr.. In 1992 he won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Makeup for a Series for the episode "Cost of Living" which he shared with Michael Westmore, Gerald Quist, Jane Haymore, Bob Scribner, Ken Diaz, Karen Westerfield, Richard Snell, and Tania McComas.
Walters was born in New York, USA and received credit for his work on Jennifer (1978), Backstairs at the White House (1979, with Mark Bussan and Vivian McAteer), A Force of One (1979), the television mini series Wild Times (1980, with Dione Taylor), A Time to Die (1982), Police Squad! (1982), Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982, with Thomas R. Burman), The Breakfast Club (1985, with Linle White), and St. Elsewhere (1986, with Linle White) and Aaron's Way (1988).
Beside his work on Star Trek, Walters won two more Emmy Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Makeup in 1979 for the television mini series Backstairs at the White House, shared with Mark Bussan, and in 1990 for The Tracey Ullman Show episode "High School Sweethearts", shared with Thomas R. Burman, Bari Burman, and Greg Nelson. Also in 1990 he was nominated for another Emmy Award for The Tracey Ullman Show episode "Creative Differences" which he shared with Thomas R. Burman and Bari Burman.
Following his work as Make-Up Artist on the third season of the comedy series Family Matters (1991-1992), Walters passed away in Hollywood, California at the age of 55.
