Star Trek releases Edit
In 2013 and 2014, Running Press released two licensed Star Trek-related "Mega Mini Kits" under its "Miniature Editions" imprint, comprising of a Star Trek: The Original Series-era phaser replica and a USS Enterprise miniature. In the case of the Enterprise model, a very small amount of assembly was required. Two additional kits were released in 2016, followed by two more in 2018.
These pre-painted plastic miniatures include a 2.5 × 3-inch, 32- or 48-page miniature reference book written by Chip Carter. Button cell batteries that power the electronic features are included and are replaceable.
Released in November 2018, a die-cast mask replica with a built-in LED "laser light" and an audio clip of Patrick Stewart as Locutus of Borg. It was accompanied by a 48-page hardcover book, a removable translucent plastic display cover and a metal display stand.
