Ryan Parrott is a television and comic book writer. He served as an assistant to J.J. Abrams on Star Trek Into Darkness, and wrote the Star Trek: Ongoing issue "The Voice of a Falling Star". He subsequently co-wrote IDW Publishing's Star Trek: Starfleet Academy series with writer Mike Johnson.
