Sam Richardson (born 12 January 1984; age 41) is an actor who voiced Vendome in the Star Trek: Lower Decks first season episode "Temporal Edict" and the third season episode "The Stars At Night". He is also set to play an undisclosed role in the upcoming film Star Trek: Section 31.
Richardson is best known for his recurring, then series regular role as Richard Splett in the political comedy series Veep between 2014 and 2019, which co-starred Gary Cole, Sufe M. Bradshaw, and Diedrich Bader and The Afterparty.
He also appeared in films such as We're the Millers (2013, with Kevin Dorff), Horrible Bosses 2 (2014, with Chris Pine, Jonathan Banks, Lennon Parham, and Bill Blair), Spy (2015), Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates (2016, with Stephen Root, Alice Wetterlund, Mary Holland, Eugene Cordero, and Branscombe Richmond), Ghostbusters (2016, with Chris Hemsworth, Ed Begley, Jr., Toby Huss, and Eugene Cordero), Office Christmas Party (2016, with Chloé Wepper), Promising Young Woman (2020, with Clancy Brown), The Tomorrow War (2021), Senior Year (2022, with Mary Holland), and Hocus Pocus 2 (2022, with Doug Jones).
