Sarah Marshall (25 May 1933 – 18 January 2014; age 80) was the actress who played Janet Wallace in the Star Trek: The Original Series second season episode "The Deadly Years". She filmed her scenes between Monday 7 August 1967 and Friday 11 August 1967 at Desilu Stage 9.
She was nominated for Broadway's 1960 Tony Award as Best Supporting or Featured Actress (Dramatic) for "Goodbye, Charlie."
Marshall appeared in the short-lived CBS series Miss Winslow And Son (1979) with Darleen Carr. Her career initially spanned 41 years, from 1954 to 1995, and after a 13 year hiatus, Marshall returned for one final film role, in 2012's Bad Blood, which also featured fellow Star Trek guest actor and husband, Karl Held, and Next Generation guest star, Vyto Ruginis.
Marshall was married to Held from July 20, 1964 until her death. She died in Los Angeles, after a long battle with cancer at the age of 80. [1]
