Scott Christian Sava (born 4 December 1969; age 55), born in Yonkers, New York, attended the Academy of Art in San Francisco, majoring in Illustration. By the age of 24, he had earned a membership in the New York Society of Illustrators and began working as an animator at Sega. He was soon employed by a number of gaming companies as a designer and art director for games including The X-Files, Fight Club, and Starcraft 64.

He left the gaming industry to become the lead animator on the sequels to the movie Casper, and worked on various Fox Kid's television shows including Spider-Man and Digimon. He founded a CGI studio in 2000 called Blue Dream Studios to work on television episodes, video game cinematics, commercials, and music videos.

He is well known for his work on a number of comic books, including Spider-Man: Quality of Life, Mortal Kombat, and Dreamland Chronicles.
