Murphy's cover artwork for the "Borg" issue

Sean Murphy (born 25 April 1980; age 44) is a comic book artist from New Hampshire. He began drawing comics in grade school before apprenticing to a local painter and cartoonist. He attended the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston and the Savannah College of Art and Design. This led to working on the Star Wars title for Dark Horse Comics and creating the Outer Orbit title (done with Zach Howard. He worked for DC Comics on their Batman/Scarecrow: Year One title as the main artist and joined up with Neil Young to work on a comic adaptation of his Greendale CD and movie. As an artist, he is in demand for his cover art stylings, doing covers for titles including GI Joe: Storm Shadow and Spike vs Dracula.

He provided the artwork for one Star Trek issue from IDW Publishing's Alien Spotlight series, #5 "Borg", which he also provided cover art for.
