Sector 185 was a region of space.

In 2365, Jean-Luc Picard requested a listing of all deep space launches from Earth that were to or near to the Ficus sector. The USS Enterprise-D computer listed ship missions to the region proximate to the Ficus sector, between sectors 184/02 and 185/38. Upon seeing the listing of launches, William T. Riker said that there were no records of missions for the Ficus sector. (TNG: "Up The Long Ladder", okudagram)

This sector was only mentioned in writing.

The list of starships launched from Earth between the years 2123 and 2190 to the region was slightly modified for the remastered version of "Up The Long Ladder".
