Sector 22757 was a sector in the Alpha or Beta Quadrant served by a subspace com net system.
In 2367 as the Battle of Wolf 359 commenced, a star chart depicting the subspace com net across sector 22757 was displayed on the USS Saratoga science station. The star chart was recreated in a vision of the Saratoga bridge that the Prophets gave Commander Benjamin Sisko in 2369. (DS9: "Emissary")
Later in 2369 and into 2370, Commander Sisko referenced the same chart of the sector's com net on his desktop monitor aboard Deep Space 9. (DS9: "Dramatis Personae", "Duet", "The Homecoming")
Also in 2370, the USS Prometheus displayed a star chart of the sector's com net on the bridge's science station during the reignition of Epsilon 119. (DS9: "Second Sight")
A star chart of sector 22757 was typically displayed at the second tactical station of the USS Defiant, the USS Sao Paulo, and the ISS Defiant in the mirror universe. (DS9: "The Search, Part I", "Shattered Mirror", "What You Leave Behind", et al.)
In 2371, the sector com net was displayed in a Defiant shuttlepod during a mission to protect the Bajoran wormhole from cometary silithium. (DS9: "Destiny")
In late 2374, acting captain Tim Watters of the USS Valiant had a map of the sector displayed on a wall monitor in his ready room. (DS9: "Valiant")
An alternate acrylic of this map was sold as part of the It's A Wrap! sale and auction. [1]
In 2375, a construct of Section 31 agent Luther Sloan's mind explored by Julian Bashir and Miles O'Brien via a neural interface included a star chart of sector 22757. (DS9: "Extreme Measures")
Appendices[]
Background info[]
This sector was only mentioned in writing.
Depictions in "Dramatis Personae", "Duet", "The Homecoming", "Second Sight", and "Destiny" reuse the same "Subspace Com Net System 2387" okudagram artwork first developed for "Emissary". [2] A static map of the sector derived from that artwork was part of the Defiant bridge set (the top-left panel of the Tactical II station) for all of its appearances as a Defiant-class ship.
Sector 22757 was also depicted on a prop PADD designed for Star Trek: Insurrection, referencing a binary star system and neutron star, though it's unclear if the PADD made it into the film. The PADD was sold in the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [3](X) [4] The same graphic was reused in a different prop PADD constructed for Star Trek Nemesis, though again unclear if it was used in the final film. [5]
