Shaipouin

Depiction of a shaipouin on a pixmit card

A shaipouin, meaning "false door" in the Romulan language, was a false front door found in traditional Romulan houses. This door was never used, and one had to go through the back.

In 2399, Soji Asha recognized that the Romulan xB Ramdha was holding a pixmit card depicting a shaipouin. Based on this, Asha made a formal request for entrance in Romulan, and induced Ramdha to speak with her. (PIC: "The End is the Beginning")
