This captain was the commander of the Sherval Das, a Valerian transport that requested docking for maintenance check on Deep Space 9 in 2369. Major Kira Nerys tried to delay the docking procedure as she believed that the Valerian captain was smuggling dolamide explosives to the Cardassians. (DS9: "Dramatis Personae")
The captain was played by Stephen Parr.
