A shuttlebus was a vehicle used on Rutia IV to transport Rutian children to school.
A few days after Alexana Devos arrived in a city threatened with terrorism from the Ansata, a shuttlebus carrying sixty school children was bombed. There were no survivors. It was later discovered that a teenager was responsible for setting the bomb. (TNG: "The High Ground")
