Sigma Draconis, also known as Alsafi, was the primary of the Sigma Draconis system. This system was located in the Alpha Quadrant and was approximately 19 light years from Sol. This star was a K-type dwarf with a spectral type of gamma-9.
The position of Sigma Draconis was depicted on a system map which appeared on the main viewscreen of the USS Enterprise bridge in 2268. (TOS: "Spock's Brain"; PIC: "Maps and Legends")

This star's quadrant of origin was inferred based on the position of its star system as seen in the star chart appearing in the Star Trek: Picard episode "Maps and Legends".
In the Star Trek: Star Charts (pp. 18, 19, 44) and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Federation Historical Highlights, 2161-2385"), this star's system was located in Sector 004 (Sigma Draconis sector).
